This blog site was made 2 years ago by Sierra (child number 4).  This is my very first posting by strong FORCE.  You may notice my hair has gotten longer and changed color. IMAGINE THAT!

 Mt. Rushmore.  It took 14 years, 1 million dollars and 400 workers mostly local ranchers and farmers to complete Mt. Rushmore.  The wages were $.40 to $1.00 an hour.  This was great depression time and men were grateful for work.  I bet at the time people were saying what a waste of  government money when things are so bad.  The shell rock is not natural.  It is the blast off rock.  To get to George Washingtons' nose, they had to blast off 30 ft of rock to hit granite.

We drove 2173 miles in 72 hours including a 12 hours in Idaho Falls Idaho

 Black Bear at Bear World.  See the 4 strands of electric fence.  They are next to elk.  To keep bears in they have electric fence through the cattle guards.  Could you image if the batteries went dead.
